I WILL REVEAL MYSELF TO YOU
The series explores the phenomenon of human presence in light and shadow — in the spaces where reality and imagination intertwine.
These works are not only about external appearance but also about the inner process of acceptance.
The candlelight illuminates the face — what society sees — while simultaneously casting a shadow that becomes a metaphor for the hidden sides of personality: emotions, memories, traumas, and dreams.
Within this contrast of light and shadow, the viewer completes the image through their own experience and perception.
The imagery of the works alludes to the iconography of the Virgin Mary, transforming it into a symbol of embracing contradictions.
Light and darkness, the spiritual and the earthly — are not opposites, but parts of wholeness that shape a true human being.
In darkness, we often seek light, yet these pauses are not emptiness but a space for reflection and discovery.
The series reminds us that the revelation of one’s true essence is a moment of vulnerability, strength, and self-acceptance — of being as you are.
